Simpl Recruits as Demand for its ERP Approach to Healthcare Information Integration and Management Grows
Healthcare IT advisor Simpl recruits Abhishek Verma as ERP Solutions Consultant in response to the UK healthcare sector’s growing interest in Simpl’s use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes and software to more effectively integrate and manage both clinical patient data and management-level data to deliver better patient care and operational efficiencies.

ERP – commonly used by the non-healthcare sector to manage all the information and functions of a business – is already used sporadically by management within UK healthcare organisations to collate information and enable activities such as Trust-level commissioning.
Abhishek’s addition to the team supports our plans to take the use of ERP one step further into clinical administration – automatically collating patient data from disparate clinical applications to enable processes such as patient billing or drug re-ordering to become more efficient.”
Simpl supports customers’ ERP software requirements with Microsoft Dynamics AX based software products from ERP vendor, Electronic Solutions and it will now draw on Abhishek’s extensive Dynamics AX experience.
Prior to Simpl, Abhishek worked for Tectura Corporation and then Touchstone Group as a Microsoft Dynamics AX specialist consultant where he was responsible for business and systems analysis.
On his appointment, Abhishek comments: “I believe there is great potential for ERP in the healthcare space at not only a management but also clinical level. At a clinical level, ERP is little explored and I am pleased to be working with Simpl to help them become the key ERP healthcare provider in the UK.”
Abhishek is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Microsoft Certified Business Solution Specialist. He holds an MBA in E-business Information Systems from Oxford Brookes University and completed an Entrepreneurship Certification course at the Said Business School, Oxford University. He holds a BA Hons in Computer Science from the University of Sunderland.
